COCO ISLAND SCUBA TOUR

The Coco Island is one of the most exotic National Parks in Costa Rica . One of a kind Island due to its biodiversity and endemic species. Only two bays are safe to disembark due to its rocky coast.

The Island is very well known within mariners and cartographers since the XVI century. It has a rich folklore of hidden treasures and according to a popular legend; "The Lima Treasure" was buried in the Island by Pirates in 1820.

They organized more than 300 expeditions but none of them succeed, we still have some hope!!

11 days in Costa Rica :

1º day: Arrive to the airport Juan Santamaria, transfer to Jaco Beach and to the Marine in Herradura. Embark in a Sail Boat. Depart at 11:00 pm , night navigation, after a wonderful dinner.

2º day: Navigation and fishing in open waters on a Sail Boat, west direction for 300 miles, observing the dolphins that escort us.

3º day: Arrive to Coco Island , registry and paper work at the Rangers Station. First two immersions at Chatan Bay , across tropical fishes, sharks, giant tunas and turtles!

4º day: Two immersions in the morning, Dirty Rock and Two Friends Island . In the afternoon, visit to Chatan Bay where you can engrave your name in a stone that is as old as the 1614 signatures o it!!

5º day: Two immersions, the first one in Alcion, a rocky barrier that was discovered by Jacques Cousteau. Here you can see Hammer Sharks and Whale Sharks. In the afternoon we will sail to Wafer Bay to visit the Rangers Station.

6º day: Two immersions, to get to Shark Fin Rock and the wonderful Iglesias waterfalls, with 180 meters high. This is the famous waterfall of the movie " Jurassic Park ". At night, visit to Manuelita island to watch very close, the White Fin Shark during the nigh hunt.

7º day: Last day at the Island . Two immersions to choose from and the last visit to the island! Depart at sunset, leaving behind a great colorful picture full of exciting memories.

8º day: Northwest navigation and open water fishing, trying to get fresh fish and take the last pictures of the dolphins that have been with us since the beginning.

9º day: Arrive to the Herradura Marine, dinner and accommodation at a hotel in Jaco.

10º day: Breakfast and transfer to San Josè - city tour - lunch at the Gran Hotel de Costa Rica accommodation and dinner included.

11º day: Tropical Breakfast buffet and transfer to the airport.

Minimun requirements:

-4 persons, maximun 6
-price per person 3000 euro –
-46 foot Sail Boat completly equipped with two baths, 2 cabins, 1 living room and 1 kitchen.
The price includes: transfers, breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks, beer and non alcoholic beverages, open water fishing, immersions and equipment, hotels in Jaco and San Jose.
- National Parks entrance fees are not included.
- The cruises can be customized to fit the client needs and you can modify them later.

Three weeks on advance minimum for reservations and a deposit of 50% of the total amount at the moment of the reservation.
Rest of the amount: seven days before the departure.
